Job Title:

GeM Tender Specialist / GeM Executive / GeM Bid Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tender/Bid Management

  2. Search, monitor, and shortlist relevant tenders on the GeM portal.

  3. Prepare and submit bids/tenders as per tender specifications.
  4. Ensure timely submission of all documentation before deadlines.

  5. Track tender results and follow up on bid status.

  6. Product Listing & Catalog Management

  7. Create and manage product listings on GeM.

  8. Ensure product specifications, pricing, and documentation comply with GeM policies.

  9. Handle updates, deletions, and corrections on the portal.

  10. Documentation & Compliance

  11. Maintain all registration documents, certifications (ISO, BIS, MSME, etc.).

  12. Prepare and upload technical and financial documents as per tender requirements.

  13. Handle contract signing, performance security, and post-tender compliance.

  14. Coordination

  15. Coordinate with internal departments (sales, accounts, logistics) for tender execution.

  16. Liaise with government departments or buyers for clarifications and order follow-ups.

  17. Reporting & Analysis

  18. Maintain a tracker of all submitted and awarded tenders.

  19. Analyze win/loss ratios and provide strategic insights to management.


Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of
    GeM portal operations
    .
  • Knowledge of
    government procurement procedures
    .
  • Excellent in
    MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    .
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.


Qualification:

  • Graduate in
    Business Administration / Commerce / Engineering / Equivalent
    .
  • Experience: 3
    –5 years
    in GeM operations or government tendering preferred.
