Job Title– Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager/ Manager- Admissions & Outreach
Reports to: Dean IFMR GSB
Location: Chennai with visit to Sricity campus
Remuneration: As per Institution Standard
Position Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2 – 5 years
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from a premier institution
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
To lead the outreach, promotion, and admissions processes of the University's MBA programme by engaging with prospective students, academic partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring the intake of high-quality candidates and alignment with the University's goals.
- Networking and building relationships with college heads, Counsellors & other key decision makers to engage with Students administrators
- Securing opportunities to interact with Students through a variety of online and offline sessions to promote Krea University and increase awareness and interest.
- Develops strong network and opportunities for strategic partnerships.
- Delivering interactive & engaging sessions across different colleges, events for students and parents like education fairs, info-sessions, webinars etc.
- Conceptualizing and executing events like college and counsellor meets, open houses and mega promotional events.
- Responsible for student admission counselling and meeting enrolment objectives of the assigned geographic areas.
- Ensure the target numbers of leads are generated and applications submitted in allocated region.
- Organising campus tours for prospective students
- Engaging highly interested Students to help them through the application process
- Performing duties for Admissions in the end-to-end admissions process for postgraduate (MBA) programs by coordinating the review of applications, shortlisting candidates for the next round, helping in the coordination of tests/assessments and participating in the interview round with prospective students.
- Planning and execution of the admissions process both online and offline
- Handling communication and inbound queries from candidates and parents regarding the Admissions process over the phone/email/online sessions.
- Participating and engaging in events hosted for candidates and/or their parents/guardians
You are also expected to work on other tasks assigned to you by the management
Work Requirements:
Requires travel for outreach and recruitment events (domestic and international).
Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak admissions season.
Skills Required:
- The role requires the candidate to have an interest in MBA and learning, general affairs, and in-depth interaction with students.
- Proficiency in handling the CRM and reports creation on Excel, words and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of admissions processes in Indian universities with knowledge of multiple entrance exams and processes of those.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel
- Relationship management and networking abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and CRM/admissions platforms.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including faculty, students, corporates, and alumni.
