About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with 46 years of experience to join our team on a contractual basis. This role requires someone who is not just proficient in backend development but also brings in solid experience working on AI-first products, handling complex systems integrations, and managing the DevOps lifecycle including CI/CD. This is a hands-on development role in a fast-paced, agile environment where the ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and deliver high-quality code is critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based backend services.
  • Build and maintain complex integrations with third-party APIs, internal services, and AI/ML models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate machine learning models into production.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security through DevOps best practices.
  • Work with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to manage microservices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django frameworks).
  • Proven experience in working on AI-first product environments (e.g., AI model APIs, LLM integration, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Good understanding of DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Experience in working with REST APIs, Webhooks, and asynchronous workflows.
  • Exposure to version control systems like Git and collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.

Good to Have

  • Experience working in startup or product-first environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Understanding of MLOps and deployment of ML models in production.
