Role Description

  1. Fabrication & Welding

  2. Perform MIG/TIG/Arc welding for MS, GI, and aluminium structures.

  3. Fabricate customized solar mounting structures based on drawings.

  4. Ensure strong, clean, and accurate welds.

  5. Fitting & Assembly

  6. Fit and assemble solar structures, rails, and supports on rooftops and ground mounts.

  7. Align components to ensure proper tilt angle and structural stability.

  8. Work with fasteners, clamps, channels, and brackets used in solar systems.

  9. Technical Understanding

  10. Interpret fabrication drawings, BOQs, and installation layouts.

  11. Understand basic load calculations and structural safety requirements.

  12. Perform cutting, drilling, grinding, and finishing as needed.

  13. Site Work

  14. Perform on-site fabrication where required.

  15. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  16. Follow safety standards and ensure equipment handling compliance.

  17. Quality Control

  18. Inspect weld quality, structural accuracy, and fitting alignment.

  19. Maintain tools, welding machines, and fabrication equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in fabrication/welding (solar or structural).
  2. Ability to read technical drawings.
  3. Knowledge of MS, GI, and aluminium fabrication.
  4. Understanding of rooftop safety standards.
  5. Ability to work efficiently on-site and in workshops.
  6. Physical fitness for rooftop work.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous work in solar EPC or fabrication industry.
  • Experience with custom bracket making and on-site adjustments.
  • Familiarity with inverter, panel, and mounting system components.

Location

Project sites/Workshop depending on requirement.

Salary

Based on experience and skill level.
