Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Insurance Underwriting professional with expertise in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance. The position is based in Bengaluru and involves handling various back-office operations for insurance underwriting. Responsibilities include processing applications, evaluating insurance risks, and finalizing insurance coverage. The individual will also ensure compliance with industry and organizational guidelines while collaborating with team members to meet operational goals efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance Underwriting principles and processes
  • Proficiency in back-office operations, policy processing, and documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and risk evaluation skills
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • 1+ years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in the Insurance or BPM sector
  • Proficiency in office tools and willingness to adapt to new technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform
simple to medium-level underwriting back-office transactions
for P&C insurance

Process customer requests with
accuracy, speed, and compliance

Handle
email-based queries
from customers and internal teams

Maintain SLA, productivity, and quality benchmarks

Ensure all transactions comply with
underwriting guidelines and audit standards

Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional teams for issue resolution
