Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Taxation. The role involves handling advisory, compliance, and litigation support services across various GST

Key Responsibilities:

Indirect Tax (GST):

  • Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, Reconciliation Statement).
  • Conducting GST audits and preparing GST audit reports.
  • Assisting clients in GST compliance, advisory, and tax planning.
  • Handling GST reconciliations between books and returns.
  • Representing clients before GST authorities in relation to notices, assessments, and appeals.
  • Providing advisory on GST implications for business transactions, contracts, and structuring.
  • Supporting clients in departmental queries, audits, and litigation matters.
  • Ensuring timely compliance with statutory deadlines under GST law.
  • Assisting in the preparation of replies to GST show cause notices, appeals, and advance rulings.
  • Keeping updated with amendments in GST law, notifications, and circulars to ensure accurate advisory.
  • Coordinating with clients for data requirements and managing deliverables.
  • Supporting partners/senior managers in client engagements and business development initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-6 years in Indirect Taxation (preferably Big 4 or reputed mid size firms).
  • Solid understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST Act, etc.).
  • Strong drafting, research, and interpretation skills.
  • Familiarity with tax tools/software.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in a reputed CA firm or tax consulting firm is preferred.
