Passive Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install & maintain structured cabling (Copper & Fiber Cat5, Cat6, SMF, MMF)
  • Cable termination, labeling, patching & rack dressing
  • Manage patch panels, ODF, splitters, racks & conduits
  • Perform fiber splicing, OTDR & Fluke testing
  • Maintain inventory & passive infra documentation
  • Assist data center teams in hardware installation
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety & compliance standards

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (Copper & Fiber)
  • Hands-on with OTDR, Fluke Tester & splicing tools
  • Familiar with rack dressing, labeling & cable routing
  • Good troubleshooting, documentation & communication skills
