Role Overview
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and providing technically accurate, value-driven solutions to clients.
This role requires an individual who can bridge technical insight with commercial strategy, ensuring that every solution aligns with client requirements, budget, and long-term objectives.
You will collaborate closely with presales, design, and project execution teams to ensure project excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across AV, ELV, and IT infrastructure domains.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive prospecting and client engagement.
- Develop strategic sales plans and implement them to meet organizational goals.
- Prepare and present technically accurate proposals, BOQs, quotations, and tenders.
- Represent Ital Solutions in client presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and decision-makers.
- Understand client pain points and develop tailored technical solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales coordination, ensuring smooth project delivery and satisfaction.
Technical & Commercial Coordination
- Work with presales/design teams to prepare cost-effective, technically robust solutions.
- Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs to ensure competitive pricing and latest technology integration.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales data, opportunity pipelines, and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Provide regular performance reports, forecasts, and market insights to the management.
- Contribute feedback for improving solution offerings and sales strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI, Bachelor's or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering (mandatory).
- 1-3 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in AV, ELV, CCTV, or IT infrastructure domains.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking, Intercom, PA/BGM Systems, and Video Conferencing.
- Proven ability in consultative and solution-based selling with strong closing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, CRM tools, and documentation.
- Strong commercial understanding with ability to prepare cost-benefit analyses and proposals.
- Ability to work independently with strong initiative and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise-level or government project-based system integration.
- Familiarity with Kerala's institutional and corporate technology market.
- Certifications in networking or ELV technologies (e.g., Hikvision, Bosch, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Extron, etc.).
- Experience working with presales, project, and technical design teams for large-scale deployments.
