6-8 Years

Sr Snowflake Developer

  • Design and develop our Snowflake data platform, including data pipeline building, data transformation, and access management.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Snowflake, strong in SQL.
  • Develop data warehouse and data mart solutions for business teams.
  • Accountable to design robust, scalable database and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) solutions.
  • Understand and evaluate business requirements that impact the Caterpillar enterprise.
  • Liaises with data creators to support project planning, training, guidance on standards, and the efficient creation/maintenance of high-quality data.
  • Contributes to policies, procedures, and standards as well as technical requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest data standards supported by the company, and brand, legal, information security (data security and privacy compliance).
  • Document data models for domains to be deployed including a logical data model, candidate source lists, and canonical formats.
  • Creates, updates, and enhances metadata policies, processes, and catalogs.
  • Good communication and interacting with SME from client.
  • Should have capability to lead a team of 4-5 members.
