Role: Product Marketing Intern (Cross-Border) – 6 Months Internship

Location: Bangalore

Internship Overview:

This internship is a hands-on project to increase awareness, adoption and market understanding of Cashfree's cross-border payments. The intern will take ownership of research, data analysis, campaign execution, and reporting initiatives, delivering insights and outcomes that directly inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies for international markets.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

1. Market Research, Data Mining & Competitor Intelligence

  • Conduct structured research and data mining on potential merchants, industries, regions, and competitors.
  • Build a market intelligence repository capturing customer segments, trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Deliver actionable insights and reports that identify high-potential opportunities.

2. Campaign Execution & Awareness Building

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness and adoption of cross-border payment solutions.
  • Track campaign performance, maintain CRM and sales enablement data, and support timely follow-ups.
  • Create campaign assets and tailored content for multiple audience segments, with measurable outcomes.

3. Analysis, Reporting & Recommendations

  • Measure the effectiveness of campaigns and research projects using defined KPIs.
  • Deliver performance reports with insights and recommendations to optimise marketing efforts and improve adoption metrics.

  • A comprehensive market and competitor intelligence repository covering multiple regions and industries.
  • Executed campaigns with measurable impact on awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Actionable insights and recommendations that directly inform product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and growth initiatives.

  • Experience in FinTech / Technology organizations - Internship in Marketing / Product Marketing before
