About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on
Software Engineer
to join our
IT Customer Zero team
at Cloudflare. This role focuses on building and deploying
IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) connectors
and
API integrations
that enable automated access provisioning across enterprise systems.

You'll be developing production-grade code (90% development, 10% infra/configuration) in a
fast-paced, agile, and startup-like environment
, collaborating closely with Security IAM and IT engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy
    IGA connectors and APIs
    for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with IAM and system owners to integrate new connectors into business workflows.
  • Implement microservices and automation tools using
    Python
    .
  • Use
    Terraform
    and
    Kubernetes
    for deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Enhance connector development frameworks and enable other developers to reuse patterns.
  • Participate in agile sprints, peer reviews, and CI/CD pipeline automation using GitLab.
  • Work autonomously on small projects and deliver high-quality solutions quickly.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years
    of software development experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Python
    (beyond scripting—experience building microservices, APIs).
  • Experience with
    IGA connectors
    ,
    SCIM
    ,
    REST
    , and
    OpenAPI specifications
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Terraform
    ,
    Kubernetes
    , and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Familiarity with
    GitLab CI/CD pipelines
    and DevOps automation.
  • Exposure to
    Salesforce
    or similar system integrations preferred.
  • Solid understanding of agile practices and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
