Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and online stores.
  • Create responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing themes using
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
    .
  • Customize existing themes or build new ones from scratch based on client requirements.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party APIs.
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless functionality and branding consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, or integration errors.
  • Stay updated with Shopify's latest features, tools, and trends.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of proven experience in Shopify development.
  • Strong understanding of
    Shopify platform, Liquid templating language, and theme customization
    .
  • Proficiency in
    HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery), JSON, and AJAX
    .
  • Familiarity with Shopify APIs and integrations.
  • Experience with Shopify apps and third-party plugin implementation.
  • Good understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Good to Have:

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in Shopify Plus (a bonus but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of digital marketing, conversion optimization, or CRO principles.
