As an Assistant Manager Operations – Air Freight, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and Branch Manager to drive operational excellence within your assigned region. You play a key role in ensuring that air freight operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full alignment with organizational goals—including service quality, cost control, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You act as a central operational contact for both internal teams and customers, ensuring that every shipment receives the right level of attention and execution.

You're someone who understands the fast-paced nature of air freight and thrives in an environment where every minute counts. You know how to coordinate effectively with carriers, handling agents, customs teams, and other partners to maintain a seamless flow of export and import operations. Whether it's managing capacity challenges, monitoring urgent movements, or troubleshooting operational issues, you're always thinking one step ahead.

In this role, you will also contribute to developing and implementing operational plans for your own PMC, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Depending on the requirements, you'll collaborate with the Operations Manager and Branch Manager to support tender processes by providing operational insights, feasibility assessments, cost inputs, and risk evaluations across all air freight services.

In addition, you bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in managing air freight operations, from planning and coordination to on-time execution and problem resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage external partners effectively.
• Proven leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide and support operational teams.
• Solid working knowledge of air freight processes, documentation, compliance requirements, and operational systems (TMS, CRM, or related logistics tools).
