Role & responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and control electrical operations across the manufacturing facility.

  • Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, HT/LT power distribution, substations, and equipment.
  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply, energy efficiency, and preventive maintenance of machines and utilities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and minimize downtime in production.
  • Lead and guide the team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and utility teams to support plant operations.
  • Implement energy conservation measures and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and audits.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and handle procurement of electrical spares and systems.
  • Liaise with electricity boards, vendors, and contractors as required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, DG sets, and plant electrical operations.
  • Experience in cable industry / manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Proven ability in managing electrical projects, operations, and team leadership.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, safety norms, and statutory compliance.
  • Should have knowledge of HMI and PLC Control.
  • Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
