Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of English based in Bengaluru South. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in English, developing curriculum, conducting research in literature, and mentoring students. The role also involves active participation in department meetings, contributing to the development of academic programs, and engaging in scholarly activities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English Teaching and Teaching skills
  • Experience in Curriculum Development
  • Strong background in Literature and English Literature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with students and staff
  • Ph.D. in English, Literature, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous teaching experience at the college level is a plus
