Job Overview
DOIT Industries Limited is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement operations, vendor coordination, salary calculation for the assembly team, credit expense tracking, and bike maintenance monitoring. The role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities1. Purchase Order (P.O.) Management
- Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders for assembly spare parts.
- Ensure accurate pricing, quantities, and specifications in every P.O.
- Maintain proper records of all issued Purchase Orders.
2. Vendor Coordination
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up on pending or delayed orders.
- Manage issues related to quantity shortages or quality concerns.
- Maintain a vendor communication and order status log.
- Build strong vendor relationships for smooth operations.
3. Salary Calculation for Assembly Team
- Collect attendance and daily output data from the assembly department.
- Calculate wages/salaries based on work logs and predefined structures.
- Coordinate with Accounts/HR to ensure salary is processed on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of salary-related information.
4. Credit & Expense Management
- Track all credit purchases including fuel, materials, and tools.
- Collect and verify bills, receipts, and credit slips.
- Prepare monthly expense reports for approvals and accounting.
- Maintain updated expense logs for audit readiness.
5. Bike Maintenance Monitoring
- Monitor servicing schedules for company-owned bikes.
- Coordinate repairs and follow-ups with service centers.
- Maintain an Excel sheet for service history, issues, costs, and upcoming maintenance.
- Ensure bikes are kept in good working condition for operational use.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts, purchasing, or administrative roles (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and basic accounting/ERP software.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping ability.
