Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Customs Coordinator based in Ludhiana. The Customs Coordinator will manage and oversee customs processes, ensuring compliance with regulations for both U.S. and Canadian shipments. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and submitting customs documentation, coordinating with brokers, monitoring shipment statuses, and addressing any compliance issues. The coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring smooth cross-border logistics and timely freight movement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customs processes, cross-border compliance, and familiarity with U.S. and Canadian regulations.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing customs documentation, such as entries, invoices, and reports.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle shipment coordination and resolve delays.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with brokers, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with logistics, freight operations, and supply chain management is an asset.
  • Technical skills in handling documentation software or customs management platforms are beneficial.
  • Relevant education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or customs processes are preferred.
