1. As a NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant, you will:

• Serve as the NetSuite system owner and lead architect for all customizations, configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced SuiteScript 2.x solutions including Suitelets, RESTlets, Map/Reduce scripts, Scheduled Scripts, User Events, Client Scripts, Portlets, and Workflow Action Scripts.
• Build and optimize Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, SuiteQL queries, custom fields, records, and transaction forms.
• Lead functional design and configuration across core modules such as Financials (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets), Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), SuiteBilling/Subscription Billing, OneWorld, Multi-Book, Procurement, Inventory, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay.
• Own end-to-end integrations with Salesforce (Sales Cloud + CPQ), billing systems, Avalara, banking feeds, expense tools, 3PL/warehouse systems, and Snowflake.
• Architect integration patterns leveraging SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or custom middleware/iPaaS frameworks.
• Drive system performance optimization, manage governance limits, and enforce scripting best practices.
• Manage SuiteGovernance processes including release management, SuiteBundles, SDF-based deployments, Git versioning, and CI/CD using Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Support month-end close automation, multi-subsidiary consolidations, global reporting, and compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15.
• Conduct requirements gathering, functional spec documentation, QA/UAT oversight, and user enablement.
• Coordinate and manage third-party NetSuite partners while ensuring most work remains in-house.

2. What You Bring to the Table:

• 5–8 years of deep, hands-on NetSuite experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x, capable of writing production-grade Map/Reduce, RESTlets, and integration scripts from scratch.
• NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer II (required).
• NetSuite Administrator and ERP Consultant certifications (strongly preferred).
• Successful delivery of at least two full-life-cycle NetSuite implementations or major platform transformations.
• Advanced understanding of NetSuite data model, custom records, transaction forms, SuiteQL, and Saved Search optimization.
• Strong functional expertise in ARM, SuiteBilling, OneWorld, Multi-Book, Fixed Assets, and core ERP modules.
• Proven integration experience with Salesforce, Avalara/TaxJar, and other enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), Git-based deployments, and CI/CD pipelines for NetSuite.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS revenue recognition requirements and audit controls.

Nice-to-Have:

• SuiteFoundation, Financial User, or SuiteAnalytics certifications.
• Experience migrating SuiteFlow logic to Workflow Action Scripts.
• Exposure to NSPB or Adaptive Insights.
• Background in Big-4 or top-tier NetSuite consulting partners.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and KPIs (ARR, NRR, churn) and ASC 606 automation in NetSuite.

3. You should possess the ability to:

• Architect scalable NetSuite solutions that balance technical robustness with functional business needs.
• Translate complex financial, operational, and revenue workflows into efficient NetSuite configurations and scripts.
• Troubleshoot advanced scripting issues, performance challenges, integration failures, and system bottlenecks.
• Communicate confidently with Finance, RevOps, Operations, and Engineering stakeholders.
• Document functional and technical requirements rigorously, follow structured SDLC processes, and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Lead deployments, manage change control, and uphold governance best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain high development and architectural standards.
