Overview of the Role:

The Senior Procurement Engineer will conduct subcontract procurement activities for various projects to ensure effective and timely delivery of the project.

What You Will Do: Purchasing Activities
  • Process subcontract enquiries to ensure subcontract packages are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Prepare Subcontract ITT in line with policy and procedures.
  • Check prequalification of new subcontractors.
Vendor Management
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best cost and lead time offerings.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for suppliers to maintain quality services and products.
  • Develop and maintain the supplier database to ensure all data and offerings are updated.
Operational Accountabilities
  • Ensure all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls are followed to guarantee safety, service quality, and environmental compliance within AFC.

What Qualifies You for the Job:
  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a Main Contractor in UA.
  • Experience in material and subcontractor procurement.
