Location: Milap Nagar, Uttam Nagar East, Delhi

Employment Type: Full-time

Working days: Monday – Friday (Saturday – Sunday off)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SolidWorks Expert to join our design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating, modifying and managing 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks. This role involves collaborating with engineers, product designers and manufacturing teams to develop innovative and manufacturable designs that meet project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) reviews.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet mechanical and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to ensure design integrity.
  • Manage design revisions and updates through PDM (Product Data Management) systems.
  • Prepare detailed renderings, animations and simulations for presentations or client reviews.
  • Support prototyping and testing of new designs, implement feedback and improvements.
  • Stay updated on SolidWorks updates, best practices, and advanced features (Simulation, Sheet Metal, Weldments, etc.).

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.

  • Proficient in advanced SolidWorks modules such as:
  • SolidWorks Simulation (FEA/CFD)
  • Sheet Metal Design
  • Weldments
  • Surfacing and Assemblies
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, mechanical tolerances and manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding etc.)
  • Experience with PDM/PLM systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Windchill, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of other CAD tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, or Fusion 360).
  • Understanding of mechanical systems design, automation or electromechanical assemblies.
