Amity University Kolkata is seeking experienced and distinguished academicians for the role of Assistant Professor of Law. The successful candidate will demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to teaching, research, and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects

  • Evaluate, monitor, and mentor student academic progress

  • Create, innovate, and implement career-enhancement programs and activities

  • Teach postgraduate and doctoral-level courses, developing innovative curriculum and pedagogy

  • Mentor faculty, students, and research scholars, providing guidance and support

  • Conduct high-impact research, publish in top-tier journals, and secure research funding

Eligibility- PhD in Law (Thesis Submitted/Awarded) with LLM and LLB degrees from premier institutions

  • UGC NET-qualified candidates will be preferred

  • Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in law, with a good number of research publications

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Specializations- Intellectual Property Law

  • Business Law

  • Criminal Procedure Code

  • Civil Procedure Code

  • Evidence Law

  • IPR (Intellectual Property Rights)

Salary and Benefits- Negotiable

  • Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process

Working Hours- Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹100,000.00 per month
