Roles and Responsibilities

Clinical & Medical Leadership

• Oversee and lead all clinical operations across hospital departments.
• Develop, implement, and review medical policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
• Supervise and support Heads of Departments.

Hospital Administration & Governance

• Manage day-to-day hospital operations including OPD, IPD, emergency, ICU, OT, and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with management for budgeting, infrastructure planning, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with NMC, NABH, bio-medical waste rules, and medico-legal norms.
• Represent the hospital during statutory inspections, audits, and accreditation visits.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Monitor clinical quality indicators, audits, and patient safety programs.
• Lead NABH accreditation activities and ensure documentation compliance.
• Oversee infection control practices, incident reporting, and risk management.

Medical Staff Administration

• Plan and manage medical manpower including consultants, RMOs, and residents.
• Prepare and monitor duty rosters and staffing levels for smooth operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations, CME activities, and training initiatives.

Patient Care & Experience

• Ensure high-quality patient care and timely grievance redressal.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
• Drive improvements in patient flow, emergency response, and safety protocols.

Community Health & External Liaison

• Oversee community outreach, health camps, and CSR-linked medical programs.
• Liaise with government bodies, medical boards, and external agencies.

Minimum 10 years of senior-level experience after Assistant Professor.
