Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role located in Bengaluru South for a Junior DevOps Support Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting system infrastructure, monitoring system performance, managing and deploying cloud infrastructure, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations, write scripts for task automation, and assist in maintaining production environments.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of DevOps principles, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Proficiency in system administration, monitoring tools, and Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with cloud technologies and platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with scripting and coding languages such as Python, Shell scripting, or equivalent
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for system errors and infrastructure issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
