Job Summary

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Review incoming orders (commercial and technical) according to established guidelines/requirements

  • Check requirements in specification sheets against the technical information in OEDI/II and Bulletins. i.e. product versus service compatibility

  • Verify required options are compatible with the selected options

  • Create/update product structures to meet the required construction

  • Submit requests for engineering and/or part number setup

  • Raise Internal Order Requisitions (IOR) to factories

  • Provide timely response to factory enquiries

  • Assume role of Order Engineering coordinator for large project orders

  • Interact with Sales/LBP (Local Business Partners) regarding technical queries

  • Ad hoc support as Checker for less/medium complex projects

  • Mentoring and training staffs in order detailing

  • Support Department targets to reduce Order Engineering lead times and Backlog

You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. Works collaboratively with project managers and Factory personals to resolve conflicts if it may arise. 

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • In depth knowledge of control valve products and Bill of material processing 

  • Knowledge on Fisher products and accessories would be a plus

  • Minimum  3 years experience in control valves engineering

  • Good understanding of product specifications and Incoterms

  • Develop and present innovative solutions for problems if they may arise. 

  • Optimizes work processes and improves performance metrics

  • Awareness of other Emerson products & Good knowledge of Inactive/obsolete/Competitor products

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ready to take up any new challenges. 

  • Time management, Problem Solving and decision making Skills
