Senior Accountant – Care and Cure Home Health Care Services

Location: Trivandrum, Kerala

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Care and Cure Home Health Care Services is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, taxation, and financial management, preferably in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory regulations.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using accounting software (Tally/Zoho Books or equivalent).
  • Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and financial planning.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and financial reviews.
  • Implement cost control measures and suggest financial improvements.
  • Assist in financial forecasting, risk analysis, and investment planning.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory payments.
  • Support management in decision-making through data-driven financial analysis.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or service industries.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare finance or home healthcare services.
  • Knowledge of payroll management and employee benefits accounting.
  • Familiarity with hospital/clinic financial operations.
