Individuals will generally either be located at, and only support, a specific site or project (including construction), or have a role that requires specific industry/business expertise or interaction with specific business customers. This category will include those EHS professionals involved in HSE performance and compliance..

As a
Health, Safety, and Environment
, you will be responsible for:

• Support the Operation Team with ensuring the full implementation and consistent execution of the Baker Hughes (EHS) programs and ensure compliance all applicable regulations.
• Work closely with manufacturing, facilities, and other teams to provide EHS support, mentoring, and engagement.
• Coordinate the closure of all findings and observations from audits and inspections.
• Participate on accident investigation.
• Conduct internal EHS inspections (i.e., hazardous waste areas, housekeeping, emergency response equipment, etc.)
• Provide general administrative and record-keeping support for all related regulatory records.
• Maintain EHS equipment and associated documentation requirements (e.g. Training records, injury logs, waste manifests, etc.)
• Ensure data accuracy and on time tracking and submission of HSE metrics and reports

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 4+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety
• Have an exposure in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas background
• Have an ability to influence others and lead small teams
• Have an ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Have a proficiency in Tamil (local language))
• Have a working exposure on Legal requirements
• Expertise on ISO standards
• Have NEBOSH Certification
• Have a good understanding of EHS-related laws and regulations.
• Have a go good problem identification and solution skills
