
Territory Sales Manager

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and acquiring new corporate clients, and nurturing relationships with existing ones in and around the Kochi region. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, target-driven professional with a strong understanding of consumer electronics and mobile phone products, and the ability to effectively pitch solutions to businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales:
- Actively prospect and generate new leads for consumer electronics and mobile phone sales to corporate customers in Kochi.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to corporate clients' needs.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to close deals successfully.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key corporate clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and addressing their queries or concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technical support, logistics) to ensure a seamless sales process and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipelines using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitor products.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) sales, preferably in the consumer electronics, mobile phones, or IT hardware industry.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the latest consumer electronics products, including smartphones, laptops, tablets, and accessories.
- Ability to understand and explain technical specifications and features to non-technical business professionals.
- Core Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- A high degree of self-motivation and a target-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the local Kochi market is a significant advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
