**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead valuation and financial analysis of **distressed and non-performing assets (NPAs)** including real estate, industrial undertakings, and stressed corporate debt.

* Build and maintain **complex financial models** to assess resolution value, recovery potential, and exit scenarios.

* Evaluate and benchmark asset recovery potential under **CIRP, liquidation, or restructuring** as per the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC).

* Perform **business viability assessments**, stress testing, and scenario-based modeling for deal evaluation.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, operations, and resolution professionals on deal structuring.

* Prepare **investment notes, valuation reports, and internal risk memos** for IC presentations.

* Support transaction execution including diligence, investor negotiations, and post-acquisition asset tracking.

* Coordinate with **registered valuers, IPs, auditors, and external consultants** to finalize asset valuations.

* Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines from **RBI, SEBI, IBBI**, and internal compliance standards.


**Required Qualifications**

* **CA (Chartered Accountant)** or **MBA in Finance** from a reputed institution.

* Certification in Valuation (e.g., **IBBI Registered Valuer – Securities or Land & Building**) preferred.


**Experience**

* 6–12 years of experience in **financial analysis, valuation, or investment**.

* Minimum 3–5 years in **distressed asset valuation**, debt restructuring, ARC, or special situations advisory.

* Prior exposure to **asset reconstruction companies (ARCs)**, investment banks, or NBFCs preferred.


**Skills**

* Strong expertise in **valuation methodologies** (DCF, liquidation value, market comps, NAV).

* Proficient in **Excel-based modeling, PowerPoint, and valuation tools**.

* Deep understanding of **IBC framework, CIRP process, and distressed asset ecosystem**.

* Excellent communication and **presentation skills** for senior stakeholders and investors.

* High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.


**Additional Requirements**

* Familiarity with **NCLT proceedings, IBC timelines**, and resolution mechanisms.

* Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with **legal and technical consultants**.

* Willingness to travel for **site visits, diligence meetings**, and court-related matters if required.

* Self-driven, analytical mindset with a passion for value investing in distressed scenarios.
