Job Title: Compliance Officer – Fund Administration Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar Experience: 4–7 years Industry: Fund Administration / Financial Services / AIFs / IFSCJob Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer to oversee and manage regulatory compliance for our fund administration operations at GIFT City. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), SEBI and IFSCA regulations, and fund compliance processes. Key Responsibilities:Ensure end-to-end compliance with IFSCA, SEBI, and FEMA regulations applicable to fund operations in GIFT City.
Monitor and implement internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance with fund governance, reporting, and regulatory obligations. Liaise with regulatory authorities for timely filings (TCR, QCR, ODI, CKYC/KRA, etc.) and handle inspections/audits. Review and vet legal agreements, offer documents, PPMs, investment committee notes, and fund-related documentation.
Ensure timely disclosures, reporting, and investor communications in coordination with fund administration teams. Work closely with internal departments and external partners including fund accountants, custodians, and RTAs to ensure compliance standards are met. Assist with compliance-related projects, risk assessments, and policy reviews.
Preferred Qualifications:Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, Finance, or a related field.4–7 years of relevant experience in compliance, preferably with a fund administrator or asset manager. Strong understanding of GIFT IFSC regulations, SEBI AIF guidelines, and other applicable frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
