Position: SCM Manager (Jr)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning and managing various aspects of our supply

chain, with a focus on inventory management, store operations, and logistics. This role is an

excellent opportunity for an individual with a foundational knowledge of supply chain principles

to gain hands-on experience in a thriving manufacturing and export-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Supply Chain Manager will be expected to:

• Software and System Proficiency:
  
  Undergo comprehensive training on our internal Enterprise Resource Planning
  
  (ERP) system for inventory and store management.
  
  Become adept at utilizing the software for tracking inventory levels, processing
  
  orders, and generating reports.

• Store and Inventory Management:
  
  Actively engage in the day-to-day operations of the store.
  
  Master the Goods Receipt Note (GRN) process, ensuring accurate and timely
  
  recording of all incoming materials.
  
  Oversee the storage and handling of goods to maintain quality and minimize
  
  damage.
  
  Participate in periodic stock audits and reconciliation.

• Import/Export Coordination:

Liaise with suppliers, both domestic and international, to ensure the timely

procurement of raw materials and components.

Coordinate with transporters and freight forwarders for the smooth execution of

import and export shipments.

Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for customs clearance and

other regulatory requirements.

Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.

• Supplier and Vendor Management:

Maintain professional and effective communication with all external partners.

Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance and the development of strong

vendor relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

An MBA or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,

or a related field is required.

Work Experience:

A minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management,

preferably within a manufacturing industry.

Essential Skills:

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

Prior experience with any ERP system is highly advantageous.

• Language Skills:

Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential for communicating with

international suppliers and stakeholders.

• Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A keen willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
