About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Consultant specializing in SAP Materials Management (MM) to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions for our enterprise clients.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MM processes, integration with other SAP modules, and best practices in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

You will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business requirements and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Consulting :

- Lead SAP MM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, and configuration.

- Analyze business processes and map them to SAP MM functionality.

- Provide strategic guidance and best practices for procurement, inventory, and materials management.

- Design end-to-end SAP solutions integrating MM with SD, PP, FI, and WM modules.

Implementation & Configuration :

- Configure SAP MM settings including material master, vendor master, purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and valuation.

- Create and maintain custom reports, workflows, and enhancements (User Exits, BADI, IDOCs) as required.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Support data migration and cutover activities during go-live.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business users to identify requirements and propose optimal solutions.

- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for clients and internal teams.

- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting for MM-related issues.

Documentation & Best Practices :

- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration guides.

- Maintain project artifacts including test scripts, process flows, and issue logs.

- Recommend process improvements and system optimizations.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.

Experience :

to 12 years of experience in SAP MM consulting or implementation.

- Proven track record of end-to-end SAP MM project implementations in large-scale enterprises.

- Experience with integration across SAP modules (SD, PP, WM, FI/CO).

Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM configuration and master data management.

- Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and valuation processes.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP Fiori apps is a plus.

- Familiarity with IDOC, BAPI, BADI, LSMW, and ALE for integration and data migration.

- Knowledge of reporting tools like SAP Query, ALV, and SAP BI is advantageous.
