Role: LLM Engineer Intern

You'll be part of our core AI innovation team, working on cutting-edge challenges in medical

language intelligence. Expect to experiment, break boundaries, and learn fast.

Key Responsibilities


• Build, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon, etc.) for healthcare

workflows.


• Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Qdrant,

Weaviate).


• Preprocess and curate clinical/biomedical datasets (structured + unstructured).


• Develop domain-specific prompts, chains, and agents for medical tasks.


• Optimize models for latency, scalability, and cost-efficiency in real-world hospital

environments.


• Integrate LLM APIs with backend stacks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, ).


• Contribute to agentic AI workflows: automated reports, patient summaries,

decision-support bots.


• Benchmark performance (BLEU, ROUGE, BERTScore, perplexity) with healthcare

datasets.


• Collaborate across AI, DevOps, and Product for end-to-end deployment.


• Maintain reproducible code, clean documentation, and state-of-the-art research

adoption.

What We're Looking For


•
Languages & Frameworks:
Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow.


•
LLM/NLP Expertise:
Transformers (BERT, GPT, LLaMA, etc.), LangChain, Haystack, or

LlamaIndex.


•
Vector Databases:
Pinecone, FAISS, Qdrant, Weaviate.


•
Data Skills:
Preprocessing EMRs, PDFs, unstructured medical text.


•
Deployment:
FastAPI/Flask, REST APIs, Git version control.


•
Strong debugging + problem-solving mindset.


•
Exposure to healthcare datasets (MIMIC-III, PubMed, CheXpert) is a plus.


• Awareness of Responsible AI & Compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, DPDP) preferred.

Qualifications


• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelors/Masters in CS, AI/ML, Data Science, or

related.


• Strong project portfolio (GitHub, demos, research papers, hackathon wins).


• Healthcare domain awareness = added advantage.
