Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Furniture Merchandiser to manage product development, vendor coordination, sampling, and production follow-ups. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of furniture materials, market trends, and export merchandising processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with design and production teams for new product development.
- Manage sampling, costing, and order confirmation processes.
- Source materials and components required for furniture manufacturing.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and buyers.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet buyer specifications.
- Keep track of market trends, competitor products, and pricing.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for export orders (if applicable).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Design, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture merchandising (export/import or domestic).
- Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials (wood, metal, upholstery, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic ERP tools.
- Detail-oriented, with good organizational and time management skills.
Salary:
Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30, ₹47,625.96 per month
