Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure supporting the PLM system, including servers and databases.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure operations teams to ensure continuous PLM service availability.
  • Oversee installations, configurations, maintenance releases, and upgrades of PLM software and integrated applications.
  • Plan and allocate resources for PLM infrastructure to ensure timely delivery of projects and maintenance releases.
  • Ensure system health and security by addressing vulnerabilities and implementing best practices.
  • Manage PLM software licensing and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Implement and manage performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Analyze system performance data, trends, and logs to diagnose issues and recommend optimizations.
  • Work with IT and vendors to fine-tune system parameters, database queries, and infrastructure settings.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to system response times and overall health.
  • Plan and execute manual performance testing for new releases and major system changes.
Background & Skills
  • Proven experience in administering and supporting Teamcenter PLM infrastructure in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (desktop and server).
  • Experience in managing distributed Teamcenter environments, including installation and configuration.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with ITIL 4.0 practices.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter BMIDE, ITK/SOA.
  • Understanding of CAD and ERP integration with PLM systems.
  • Basic architectural knowledge of Teamcenter.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
