ServiceNow Developer

The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer worked within the HR Service Delivery team. The associate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.

What we're looking for

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience with ServiceNow development.

• Required Certification: ServiceNow CSA or CAD

• Nice to have certifications: ITIL Foundation or Agile certifications

Preferred Qualification:

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, and customization

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with ServiceNow modules, such as HRSD, ITSM, ITOM, and CSM

Nice to Have:

• Experience with the Xanadu release of ServiceNow

• Experience integrating Workday with ServiceNow

• Knowledge of integration technologies, such as REST, SOAP, and JDBC

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git

• Certification in ServiceNow Development or Administration

• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and migrations

How you will thrive and create an impact:

• Lead the design, development, and testing of custom applications and workflows on ServiceNow within the Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) instance

• Configure and customize ServiceNow HRSD modules, including HR services, HR Agent Workspace, NOW Assist, and Employee Center Pro

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for custom applications and workflows

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform

• Stay up-to-date with new features and best practices on the ServiceNow platform
