Our Humanoid Framework powers robots like RIA and others through a distributed network of cognitive agents — internal services that process language, perception, motion, and reasoning in real time.

We're looking for an MCP Engineer (Agents) to help us design and develop the next generation of multi-agent systems that drive these humanoids — the core layer where LLMs meet robotics.

Role Overview

As an MCP Engineer, you'll build the middleware and orchestration logic that binds our humanoid's AI capabilities together — from reasoning to memory, perception, and action.

You'll work on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — our internal agent coordination layer — and implement intelligent APIs, pipelines, and multi-app logic for both local and distributed environments.

You'll collaborate with engineers across AI, backend, and robotics to create modular, extensible agents capable of understanding context and executing tasks autonomously.

What You'll Work On

  • Design and implement MCP-based agent frameworks for humanoid reasoning and coordination.
  • Develop and integrate REST and gRPC APIs to connect multi-agent components.
  • Build lightweight, modular services in TypeScript or Go for internal and external agent communication.
  • Architect scalable systems capable of running multiple apps/agents in parallel.
  • Implement logical and state-based reasoning flows using LLM integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or local models).
  • Work on session orchestration, context memory, and response planning for humanoid interactions.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate fine-tuned models and inference runtimes into agent layers.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Strong experience in Go or TypeScript for backend or agent-like systems.
  • Understanding of REST API design, gRPC, and microservice architectures.
  • Logical and structured approach to problem-solving and workflow automation.
  • Curiosity and ability to reason about LLM behaviour, context windows, and tool usage.
  • Comfortable with Linux-based environments, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with ONNX Runtime, GGML/GGUF, or for local model optimization.
  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other agent frameworks.
  • Understanding of RAG, vector stores, and retrieval pipelines.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures (e.g., NATS JetStream, Kafka, or Redis Streams).
  • Interest in robotic cognition, multi-agent reasoning, or LLM orchestration.
