Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and test code in C++ and Python.
  • Implement algorithms for defect detection, surface analysis, and real-time monitoring using ML or similar libraries.
  • Assist in designing and deploying machine learning models for flaw detection and process optimization.
  • Interface hardware peripherals such as stepper drivers, temperature sensors, thermistors, limit switches, proximity sensors, cameras, and other modules with Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers.
  • Work with communication protocols like UART, I²C, SPI, and CAN for sensor and module integration.
  • Calibrate and control 3D printer components such as motors, heaters, fans, and end stops through embedded code.
  • Analyze system data to improve accuracy, stability, and performance of the printing process.
  • Document experimental results, algorithms, and hardware connections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and hardware control modules into functional prototypes.
