JOB DESCRIPTION FIXED ASSETS

Key Responsibilities


• Complete Fixed Asset Accounting within the SAP environment, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy in financial reporting.


• Manage and oversee project systems (WBS, Network, Asset Creation,

Settlement, etc.) related to Fixed Asset projects.


• Assets capitalization, Assets retirement disposal, Lease Accounting and Schedule, Mass Additions and Quick Additions, Preparation of CWIP and Lease reconciliations.


• Posted journal entries and accruals during month-end close, enhancing financial reporting accuracy (Depreciation, Accurals, OPEX, Fx Variance, CWIP

reclass etc.)


• Blackline reconciliation, follow up the Fixed Assets RFUs as per Documentation of Fixed Assets project


• Regularly updating Fixed Assets register, with missing assets details,

depreciation analysis etc.


• Reconcile fixed asset accounts to the general ledgers.


• Manages the fixed asset accounting cycle including preparation entries fixed asset schedule, Capital Expenditure Status Report fixed asset register with100%


• Prepare various MIS and general reports including Capex Advances, Capital Commitments, WDV (Written Down Value) reports, and other financial documents.


• Conduct regular follow-ups with concerned cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.


• Oversee the Component Accounting, FA spares, and physical verification of Fixed Assets to ensure accurate records and compliance.


• Provide accurate and timely updates for Weekly/Monthly MIS related to the Fixed Asset cycle.


• Preparation and monthly tracking of the Global Capital Budget, ensuring alignment of actuals with budgeted figures; highlighted

YTD capital expenditure performance and provided insights on variances.


• Managed creation of Business Unit Capital Requisitions and asset numbers for new capital projects.
