Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our Chennai store. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe dispensing of medications, provide expert advice to customers, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medicines accurately and efficiently
- Advise customers on over-the-counter medications and proper usage
- Maintain and update pharmacy stock levels; check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Assist in daily operations of the store and billing process
- Handle customer queries and provide professional guidance
- Maintain patient records and prescription files for audit purposes.
Requirements:
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm / Pharmacist Aid
- Valid Pharmacist registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in shifts and weekends
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy is a plus
