Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and driven Java Backend Developer to join our growing technology team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust server-side logic, designing scalable APIs, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications that power our digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend components using Java, preferably with Spring Boot or Java EE.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code; participate in code reviews and debugging.
  • Implement security protocols and data protection measures.
  • Manage data storage solutions and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Document backend processes and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve development efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java, with solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, or Java EE.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services, JSON, and API design.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and basic DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
