About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Azure DevOps and hands-on experience in scripting using Python or PowerShell. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of critical infrastructure and applications, while continuously improving automation and operational efficiency.

This role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts to support 24x7 operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using Azure DevOps.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python or PowerShell to streamline CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize build/release pipelines and environment configurations.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards across the environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or related role.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).
  • Strong scripting knowledge in Python or PowerShell for automation and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
  • In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Monitoring).
  • Familiarity with Git, YAML pipelines, and configuration management tools.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per business requirements.
