Position: QA Automation Engineer

Job Role:

  • Develop and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications usingPlaywright (JavaScript/TypeScript).

●Translate product requirements and acceptance criteria into effective automated tests.

●Enhance existing automation for both positive and negative coverage scenarios.

●Participate in test planning, sprint reviews, and cross-functional discussions.

●Collaborate closely with developers, QA peers, and product managers to ensurehigh-quality releases.

●Review and provide feedback on automation code developed by peers.

●Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for regression and smoke testing.

●Contribute to improving SkySlope's QA strategy, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

●3–7 years of experience in QA automation for modern web applications.

●*Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (Playwright preferred).*

●*Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience using an IDE for debugging andtest development.*

●Knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.

●Experience testing Angular or applications.

●Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

●Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

●*Exposure to Google Spanner *or similar cloud databases.

●*Experience with accounting or financial systems.*

●*Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes environments.*

●*Experience using AI-assisted QA or development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHubCopilot, ).*

●Understanding of performance and security testing fundamentals.
