Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer located in Chennai. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical equipment. Day-to-day tasks will involve performing preventive maintenance, ensuring the functionality and safety of biomedical devices, and collaborating with medical staff to optimize the use of equipment in clinical environments. The role also involves staying updated on advancements in biomedical technologies and implementing them as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure the safety and proper functioning of medical devices.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering principles, including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Clinical Engineering, with the ability to work closely with healthcare professionals to improve medical device performance and reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is a strong asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with medical staff and team members.
