About AIM

Analytics and Information Management (AIM) is a global community that is driving data driven transformation across Citi in multiple functions with the objective to create actionable intelligence for our business leaders. This role is based out of AIM India, and supports the Wealth business, and specifically the Wealth Risk Quantification Solution team. It is a senior project manager cum delivery role to execute in-business automation for the Wealth business.

About the Wealth Risk Quantification Solution (RQS) team

We simplify, streamline, and automate controls—strengthening our ability to prevent issues. Wealth Risk Quantification Solution (RQS) team automates manual control through data driven capabilities using industry standard tools & techniques in collaboration with Business, Internal Audit, Internal Citi Risk and Control and Technology. Through automation we identify control gaps and provide the evidence to Business/Risk teams to mitigate various types of risks.

About the Role & Expertise Needed

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of various control automation project, overseeing entire Automation life cycle from requirement management to implementation.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and closing automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • This role involves leading complex projects or programs, often with significant organizational impact, and managing diverse teams, stakeholders, and resources.
  • Requires deep understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, stakeholder communication, and conflict resolution, and is adept at navigating complex organizational landscape.
  • Working as part of a diverse team spread across the globe, with a wide range of people and with exposure to global Wealth stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to support business planning and resource allocation.
  • Liaison with Business, R&C teams, Operations and Technology stakeholders to identify Control Automation opportunities.
  • Critically assess new tools and identify those that align with organizations goals and technical landscape.

  • Champion and Execute Controls Automation strategic plan, suggest thought leadership ideas for target state.
  • Should have strong foundation of project management principles and stakeholder management.
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Understand concerns, challenges and roadblocks during the project lifecycle and provide all the required support to overcome the same, as outlined below but not limited to -
    • Extensive knowledge of automation tools and technologies with the ability to solve complex problems.
    • Thorough understanding of controls and risks associated with the consumer products
    • Ability to manage, develop and motivate onsite/offsite teams in delivering results both as an individual and through virtual teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Economics, MBA from a premier institute.
  • Certification / Proven Competency in Complex Project Management
