About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in API and web application testing. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts while ensuring high-quality deliverables in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and API applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test coverage.

Analyze defects, track bugs, and perform root cause analysis to ensure timely resolution.

Maintain quality standards throughout the SDLC (Agile/Scrum).

Participate in release validation and production smoke testing.

Integrate and execute tests within CI/CD pipelines and report results.

Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in API testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

Proficient with Jira and X-Ray for test management and defect tracking.

Solid experience in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution and reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Karate, etc.).

Prior experience in process improvement initiatives and quality best practices.
