Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
QA Automation Engineer
to join our quality engineering team within the
FinTech domain
. The ideal candidate will have
5+ years of experience
in automation testing, with strong expertise in
Python, Java, Pytest, Selenium/Playwright, and CI/CD pipelines
. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and compliance of financial applications through modern automation practices.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, develop, and maintain
automation test frameworks
using
Python
and
Pytest
.


• Automate
functional, regression, and smoke test cases
for web and API applications.


• Build and execute automation tests using
Selenium/Playwright
for UI and API validation.


• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver
high-quality FinTech products
.


• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring quick resolution in collaboration with engineering teams.


• Perform
cross-browser and cross-platform testing
to validate product compatibility.


• Integrate automation suites into
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps) for continuous testing.


• Contribute to
test planning, test data management, and reporting
of test execution results.


• Drive
best practices in QA automation, coding standards, compliance, and maintainability
.

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


•
5+ years of experience
in QA automation engineering, preferably in the
FinTech or banking/financial services domain
.


• Strong programming expertise in
Python
and working knowledge of
Pytest
.


• Hands-on experience with
Playwright
for web and API automation.


• Proficiency in writing and executing
SQL queries
for backend data validation.


• Proven experience integrating automation frameworks within
CI/CD pipelines
.


• Solid understanding of
QA methodologies, test strategies, and Agile/Scrum practices
.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have


• Experience in
API testing
(Postman, REST frameworks, or similar).


• Exposure to
performance testing
tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).


• Familiarity with
cloud-based testing platforms
(e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).


• Knowledge of
BDD frameworks
such as
Behave, SpecFlow, or Cucumber
.


• Understanding of compliance and security testing requirements for
financial applications
.
