Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Engineer (L3) to join our team. The ideal candidate will

be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting advanced

Citrix environments. You will serve as the top-level escalation point for technical issues,

ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of Citrix solutions for our

organization or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation:

o Architect and deploy advanced Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual

Apps and VDI, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Store Front and Citrix Cloud

solutions.

o Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations (Virtual Machine Migration from

VMWare to Citrix Xen Server), and performance tuning projects.

o Develop and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for

Citrix environments.

Maintenance and Support:

o Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve escalated issues related to

Citrix infrastructure, virtualization, and user environments.

o Monitor Citrix environments to ensure optimal performance, availability,

and security. Analyze logs and metrics to identify and proactively address potential

issues.

User Management:

oAdminister user profiles, policies, and access controls.

oOptimize user experience through advanced configuration and tuning of

Citrix profiles, policies, and workspace environments.

Collaboration:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network, storage, and

security teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of Citrix

environments.

oProvide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.

Documentation and Reporting:

oCreate and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure design,

congurations, and processes.

o Generate regular performance and incident reports for management and

stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Extensive hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

(XenApp/XenDesktop), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory,

and Group Policy.

Proficiency in hypervisor platforms like VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.

Familiarity with storage solutions and integration with Citrix environments.

Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization:

Advanced skills in diagnosing complex Citrix-related issues, including network

latency, user experience, and application performance.

Strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) for automation and process

improvement.

Networking and Security:

Solid understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, load balancing, DNS, and

SSL.

Experience with Citrix ADC congurations, including load balancing and gateway

setups.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and

clients.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure

environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) or Citrix Certifed Expert -

Virtualization (CCE-V).

Relevant Microsoft, VMware, or networking certifications.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 5 years dedicated to Citrix

engineering at an advanced level.

Proven track record in large-scale Citrix implementations and optimizations.

Work Conditions

Availability of on-call support for critical incidents.

Flexibility to work during off-hours or weekends when required
