Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site teaching role based in Kolkata. The Post Graduate Teacher will be responsible for delivering subject-specific instruction to high school students in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards. The role requires fostering both academic and personal growth among students, ensuring high-quality learning experiences, and maintaining an encouraging and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons.
  • Create comprehensive lesson plans aligned with CBSE standards.
  • Conduct interactive classroom sessions and use modern pedagogical methods.
  • Assess student progress regularly through tests, assignments, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to facilitate improvement.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive, supportive learning environment.
  • Mentor and motivate students, supporting their holistic development.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to enhance teaching quality and school initiatives.
  • Uphold the institution's mission of providing equitable, value-based eeducation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.
  • B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience (CBSE experience preferred).
  • Strong lesson planning, teaching, and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment, especially for underprivileged learners.
  • Passion for education and commitment to the school's mission.
