Job Description

Purpose of the role:

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality technical training programs to ensure that technicians and team members develop the skills and knowledge necessary to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles — including EVs — correctly and efficiently.
• Design, plan, and execute both customer‑facing (dealer) and internal technical training sessions covering product systems, diagnostics, repair procedures, and new technologies.
• Support the onboarding and continuous development of new team members through structured induction programs, competence assessments, and personalized development plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure programs reflect the latest OEM standards, products, and diagnostic tools, contributing to business KPIs and service excellence.
• Plan, design, and deliver comprehensive technical training programs (in‑class, virtual, and hands‑on) for dealer technicians and internal team members.
• Develop and maintain engaging training materials tailored to audience levels — presentations, videos, manuals, demonstrations, exercises, assessments, and e‑learning content.
• Coordinate new technician onboarding programs: define learning paths, organize schedules, assess technical competence, and track progress with the Team Leader.
• Conduct regular competence evaluations to ensure all trainees meet required technical and behavioral standards; identify knowledge or performance gaps and define corrective actions.
• Create and maintain training documentation including course outlines, assessments, attendance records, and evaluation reports to ensure compliance with audit and SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers, Warranty, and Technical Support teams to ensure technical content accuracy and integration of the latest model and product updates.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Ability to read, interpret, and explain mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Competence in diagnostic equipment use, fault‑finding, and technical problem‑solving procedures.
• Expertise in training development tools and presentation software (PowerPoint, video/audio editing, LMS publishing tools).
• Training design: creation of structured materials, exercises, assessments, and evaluation frameworks.
• Competence in data tracking and KPI reporting to monitor learner progress and training effectiveness.
• Classroom and workshop management: safety, organization, logistics, and hands‑on demonstration execution.
