Job Description – PR Executive

Position: PR Executive Location: Mumbai Department: Public Relations Reports To: PR Manager/ Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive PR Executive to join our communications team. The PR Executive will support in managing the company's public relations strategy, strengthen brand reputation, build media relations, and execute campaigns that drive visibility and credibility. This role involves content creation, media engagement, event coordination, and digital amplification.

Key Responsibilities

· Media Relations

o Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and influencers.

o Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and news pitches.

o Track media coverage and prepare media monitoring reports.

· Content Development

o Draft high-quality articles, op-eds, speeches, blog posts, and social media content.

o Support in developing PR materials such as brochures, case studies, and newsletters.

· Campaign & Event Support

o Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns and events (press conferences, roundtables, product launches).

o Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth execution.

· Crisis Communications

o Support in drafting statements and FAQs during sensitive scenarios.

o Assist in monitoring issues that may impact the brand reputation.

Key Skills & Competencies

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong media relations and networking abilities.

· Creativity in storytelling and brand positioning.

· Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

· Basic knowledge of PR tools (Cision, Meltwater, Google Alerts, etc.).

· Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in Public Relations, Media, or Corporate Communications (agency or in-house).
